What it does
- Scanning
- Point a phone camera at the barcode on the case. Films, TV series and albums can also be found by title.
- Matching
- A barcode listing can read “Troy : 2 Disc Edition Brad Pitt Region 2”. Only one film called Troy stars Brad Pitt, so the disc is matched to Troy (2004). When the cast doesn’t decide it, you pick from the posters.
- Searching
- Search the collection, and filter it by format, folder, rating or what’s lent out.
- Folders
- Group items into folders of your own. One item can sit in several.
- Lending
- Mark an item as lent and note who has it.
- Importing
- Bring in a Discogs collection by username.
- Exporting
- Download the whole collection as CSV or JSON.
What it doesn’t do
- No manual entry. Every item comes from a barcode or title lookup, so an item the sources don’t recognise can’t be added.
- No books or comics.
- No iOS or Android app. It runs in the browser on a phone or computer.
- Up to 2,000 items per account.
